General
When Do Not Disturb is active, incoming calls are blocked.
- Zenitel Connect Pro will still attempt a silent call for 5 seconds to allow the use of the breakthrough feature before the call is terminated.
- Optionally the call can be forwarded after the 5 second period a directory number is defined
- If the called station is busy, the caller receives a busy tone; otherwise, a normal ring tone is played during the 5‑second window. This 5‑second timer is hardcoded and therefore not configurable.
- If the calling station has breakthrough permissions, pressing the M‑key during this period will force a connection.
- If a call has High or Alarm priority, the forwarding rules configured under "Do Not Disturb" are ignored.
- If Call Forwarding is configured separately, the call will be forwarded accordingly.
- If the called station is configured as a Queue Operator or an Additional Ringer, the call will be blocked.
- Normal or low priority (> 40) broadcast calls are also blocked. (Note: Blocking of Broadcast Call is not supported on ITSV and other third-party SIP phones).
Optionally Forwarding on "Do not Disturb" can be set by entering a directory number
DnD can be set in the Zenitel Connect Pro web interface and/or from the device. The web interface reflects the forwarding status for each device, also when set from the device.
DnD set from the Zenitel Connect Pro web interface
From the homepage of Zenitel Connect Pro Navigate to Devices and Connections -> Configuration
From the web interface the DnD can be enabled or disabled, and one can enter a directory number (optional) if the call should be forwarded when DnD is enabled.
| DnD setting in the web interface of Zenitel Connect Pro |
DnD set from a Device
Zenitel devices:
- Dial the Directory service number on the keypad, or
- Use a Function Button (DAK key) with a pre-configured Service Code
ITSV-x Video phones:
- Dial the Service Code from the keypad, or
- Enter the sequence as a Speed Dial key for single touch activation
| Directory Number | Feature | Service Code |
|---|---|---|
| 7680 | Set DnD forwarding | *68*{D}# |
| 7681 | Enable Do Not Disturb | *68# |
| 7682 | Disable Do Not Disturb | #68# |
| 7683 | Set remote DnD forwarding | *68*{S}*{D}# |
| 7684 | Enable remote DnD | *68*{S}*# |
| 7685 | Disable remote DnD | #68*{S}*# |
- {D} is the destination directory number the call should be forwarded to.
- {S} is the directory number of the station where you want to enable the DnD.
