Busy Override (Zenitel Connect Pro)

Introduction

Busy Override and Ringing override are features that allows a user to break into a call when the called party is busy and/or during ringing before the call is accepted. This will force a connection between the two parties. When overriding an ongoing conversation, the third party will be disconnected.

Busy Override can also be used towards a device that is currently making or receiving a broadcast call of any priority, including Emergency.

The Busy Override feature is configured for a device or a group of devices in the Call Service section. One can choose to enable override "When callee is busy", or "When call is ringing", or both.

Operation

Zenitel devices with keyboard can push the M-key to activate the override. ITSV devices can activate override by pressing the * (star) button.

It is not possible to configure the Override function on a DAK-key.
