A Class of Service (COS) defines a set of features available for a station. There are 16 freely programmable classes where three are predefined during setup. All stations are normally in the COS 1 group.
- COS 1: Regular master stations with display.
- COS 15: Public telephone lines (PNCI)
- COS 16: Includes all features, dedicated to Super User on physical number 1.
