General
When Do not Disturb is active it will blocks incoming calls.
- Zenitel Connect Pro will silently call for 5 seconds to allow the use of breakthrough feature before the call is terminated.
- If the called station is busy the caller gets busy tone, otherwise normal ring tone for the 5 seconds duration. This 5 second timer is hardcoded and therefore not configurable.
- If permissions for breakthrough is given to the calling station, pressing M-key during this period will force a connection
- If a call with priority High or Alarm is made, the forwarding as configured with 'Do not Disturb' is ignored.
- If Call Forwarding is configured separately, then the call will be forwarded.
- If the account is a Queue Operator or an Additional Ringer the call will be blocked.
When Do Not Disturb is active, incoming calls are blocked.
- Zenitel Connect Pro will still attempt a silent call for 5 seconds to allow the use of the breakthrough feature before the call is terminated.
- If the called station is busy, the caller receives a busy tone; otherwise, a normal ring tone is played during the 5‑second window. This 5‑second timer is hardcoded and therefore not configurable.
- If the calling station has breakthrough permissions, pressing the M‑key during this period will force a connection.
- If a call has High or Alarm priority, the forwarding rules configured under "Do Not Disturb" are ignored.
- If Call Forwarding is configured separately, the call will be forwarded accordingly.
- If the called station is configured as a Queue Operator or an Additional Ringer, the call will be blocked.
DnD set in the Zenitel Connect Pro web interface
From the homepage of Zenitel Connect Pro Navigate to Devices and Connections -> Configuration
Select a device and click
Each of the 3 forwarding options can be enabled independently. When enabled a target Directory Number needs to be entered.
| DnD setting in the web interface of Zenitel Connect Pro |
Set DnD on own Device
Zenitel devices:
- Dial the Directory service number on the keypad, or
- * Use a Function Button (DAK key) with a pre-configured Service Code
ITSV-x Video phones:
- Dial the Service Code from the keypad, or
- Enter the sequence as a Speed Dial key for single touch activation
Unconditional forwarding
{1} is the directory number the calls should be forwarded to.
Using Directory Service:
- Set call forwarding: 7210 + {1} + M-key (or #) (Example: 7210 + 123 + M. Calls to this station will be forwarded to number 123)
- Cancel and retain: 7212
- Reestablish forwarding: 7211
Alternatively use Service Code:
- Set forwarding: *21*{1}#
- Cancel and retain: #21#
- Reestablish forwarding: *21#
Forwarding on busy
Using Directory Service:
- Set call forwarding: 7670 + {1} + M-key (or #) (e.g. 7670 + 123 + M)
- Cancel and retain: 7672
- Reestablish forwarding: 7671
Alternatively use Service Code:
- Set call forwarding: *67*{1}#
- Cancel and retain: #67#
- Reestablish forwarding: *67#
Forwarding On No reply
Using Directory Service:
- Set call forwarding: 7610 + {1} + M-key (or #) (e.g. 7670 + 123 + M)
- Cancel and retain: 7612
- Reestablish forwarding: 7611
Alternatively use Service Code:
- Set call forwarding: *61*{1}#
- Cancel and retain: #61#
- Reestablish forwarding: *61#
Cancel and Retain will deactivate the forwarding, but keep the directory number used when the call forwarding was set.
Set DnD on a Remote Device
This feature makes it possible to control Call Forwarding on a remote device.
Zenitel devices:
- Dial the Directory service number on the keypad, or
- Use a Function Button (DAK key) with a pre-configured Service Code
ITSV-x Video phones:
- Dial the Service Code from the keypad, or
- Enter the sequence as a Speed Dial key for single touch activation
Unconditional forwarding
- {1} is the directory number of the station where you want to set call forwarding
- {2} is the directory number to which the calls should be forwarded
Using Directory Service:
- Set call forwarding: 7213 + {1} + M-key + {2} + M-key (or #) (Example: 7213 + 106 + 1088 + M: Calls to 106 will be forwarded to 1088)
- Cancel and retain: 7215 + {1} + M-key (or #)
- Reestablish forwarding: 7214 + {1} + M-key (or #)
Alternatively use Service Code:
- Set forwarding: *21*{1}*{2}#
- Cancel and retain: #21*{1}*#
- Reestablish forwarding: *21*{1}*#
Forwarding on busy
Using Directory Service:
- Set call forwarding: 7673 + {1} + M-key + {2} + M-key (or #) (Example: 7673 + 106 + 1088 + M: Calls to 106 will be forwarded to 1088 if 106 is busy)
- Cancel and retain: 7675 + {1} + M-key (or #)
- Reestablish forwarding: 7674 + {1} + M-key (or #)
Alternatively use Service Code:
- Set forwarding: *67*{1}*{2}#
- Cancel and retain: #67*{1}*#
- Reestablish forwarding: *67*{1}*#
Forwarding on Timeout/No reply
Using Directory Service:
- Set call forwarding: 7613 + {1} + M-key + {2} + M-key (or #) (Example: 7613 + 106 + 1088 + M: Calls to 106 will be forwarded to 1088 if not answered within preset time)
- Cancel and retain: 7615 + {1} + M-key (or #)
- Reestablish forwarding: 7614 + {1} + M-key (or #)
Alternatively use Service Code:
- Set forwarding: *61*{1}*{2}#
- Cancel and retain: #61*{1}*#
- Reestablish forwarding: *61*{1}*#
Cancel and Retain will deactivate the forwarding, but keep the directory number used when the call forwarding was set.
