Call setup priority is used for controlling the setup of point to point conversations. The priority is applicable to station to station calls only, not when calling features (e.g. like group call).

The priority level is set from AlphaPro, Users & Stations

  • 1 : Low priority: Call is always in private ringing mode, regardless settings of B station
  • 2 : Normal priority
  • 3 : High priority: Ignore Private mode and Absence Messages of B-station. Connect if B station is not busy
  • 4 : Alarm priority: Also do Busy override of B. If B station is busy with lower priority calls/features, disconnect B and connect through. Also, if shortage of audio resources prevents call completion, disconnect lower priority call to allow this alarm call to be completed.

The same scale is used for other features, like groupcall. But for these features the only significant value is 4=Alarm. The other values 1-3 are handled the same way.
