This feature works like a areacode. Dial the area code to get a audio connection to an other exchange. Then you can dial local features /  ( [[Call local station feature | station numbers]] ) in that remote exchange.

Default directory number: 54, 55
Feature number: 81
Parameter 1: 1-254 = Node number of exchange to call.
Description: Call a remote exchange within a AlphaNet. Dial the area code to get a audio connection to an other exchange. Then dial local features /( station numbers ) in that remote exchange.

The digits dialed for this feature is not transfered to the remote exchange. This is in contrast to the Call remote station feature, which does transfer the digits to the remote exchange.
