Feature: IP address config
Default directory number: 7810
Feature number: 110
Parameter 1: (not used)
Description:

This feature can be used from a station to temporarily change the IP addresses, network mask and default IP route of an AlphaCom. The purpose is to set a temporary configuration, just enough to allow connecting to AlphaWeb, where permanent configuration is done. The feature is restricted to the the SuperUser station (COS 16). In order to be practical usable, an analog display station has to be used.

The following parameters can be changed:

* IP address eth0
* IP address eth1
* IP network mask eth0
* IP network mask eth1
* default route gateway address

After dialing 7810, you can step through the 5 parameters by pressing M-key. If you want to change one parameter, start dialling the IP address/mask/gateway-address, in dot-notation. Use M-key to get a dot ".". Two M-presses in row is short for ".0." . When a complete address is entered, confirm the change with M-key. The network parameter is changed directly in the networking SW when you confirm the change with M-key. At the same time the the Firewall is disabled. But nothing is stored permanently, all changes are discarded and the firewall is restored at next reset.

The function disconnects after changing a networking parameter. You have to dial 7810 for each parameter to change. But in most cases, you only need to change the IP address of one of the interfaces.

7810 only changes the IP addresses as used by linux/apache/alphaweb. AMCD and other daemons are not updated. The IP address shown by 789 is consequently not updated. Instead, dial 7810 again, if you want to verify the address you just have dialled.
