Event Viewer - Config File Configuration

1.Click Configure > New Device

2. Export the VIPA Configuration from the SCT Tool

• If you do not have a separate VIPA .cfg configuration file already, you can extract one from the SCT:
• Open the SCT and select File > Export VIPA configuration and save the .cfg file to a known location on you host PC.

3. Click "Browse to PAVA VIPA config file" to understand how to extract the VIPA configuration from the SCT please refer to the NetworkCardManager page.

4.Select the extracted VIPA configuration > Open

5. Click on the device/devices you wish to monitor > Add Selected Devices

6. Upon successful connection to the device/devices, they should say Online: and highlight green under "Monitored Devices" > Save Changes

7. Once the changes have been saved, you should be able to close the Configuration window and Event Viewer should begin monitoring the device/devices.
