Maintenance Lock (Zenitel Connect)

From Zenitel Wiki

Maintenance Lock is used to place a device or station in maintenance mode. While enabled, faults generated by the device are suppressed and do not appear as active alarms. This allows maintenance activities, such as device replacement or troubleshooting, to be carried out without generating unnecessary fault indications.

Note that during a firmware upgrade, Zenitel Connect automatically places the device in maintenance mode to prevent temporary upgrade-related faults from being reported. The device is automatically set to Unlocked when the upgrade process completes.

Fault monitoring continues while the device is locked. Once maintenance is complete, the lock should be removed to restore normal fault presentation.

For information about how to enable Maintenance Lock and fault handling in general, see Fault Management.
