===PHIX-139 Mobile App===
+
===MTN-3318 Upgrading IP-LCM-A to 6.1.3.0 version causes reboot loop===
Zenitel Mobile is supported on iOS and Android platforms.
+
When upgrading IP-LCM-A station to 6.1.3.0 version, stations is stuck in reboot loop. This is now fixed.
Zenitel Mobile is part of the Edge system and it can be added to all Zenitel Edge System using configuration tool on Edge Controller web page. Zenitel mobile will have SIP account on the Edge Controller. In Edge 1.1. release Zenitel Mobile will work in so-called local mode - where mobile app is connected to the local network to receive and make audio and video calls.
+

Zenitel mobile app will be licensed using Edge licensing system. Grace license supports up to 10 mobile app registrations on Edge Controller.
+
===MTN-3303 Permanent Audio Stream mode: "RTP Stream Always Enabled" made station out of function===
 +
If "RTP Stream Always Enabled" the station would not be registered and would not function. This is now corrected, and the station will again be registered and function normally.
 +

 +

 +
==Known Issues==
 +
===MTN-3299 TLS Private Keys not restored on Turbine stations===
 +
In case that TLS Private Keys are deleted from Turbine station, the only way to restore them is to manually upload them to the station. Factory reset or station upgrade will not restore TLS Private Keys.
 +
 +
===MTN-2692 Turbine stations won't register to ICX500 or Alphacom if the dash symbol is not removed from the Directory Number field.===
 +
In an unconfigured Turbine station there is a dash character in the Directory Number field in the "Main Settings menu. This dash symbol must be removed when the directory number is entered, else the station will fail to register.
 +
 +
===MTN-2686 Outputs not working for Exigo amplifiers in SIP mode===
 +
GPO's does not work when exigo amplifiers are in SIP mode.
 +
 +
===MTN-2363 Factory reset does not delete uploaded Script===
 +
All uploaded scripts should also be removed on Factory reset
 +
 +
===MTN-2362 H.264 RTSP stream in UDP mode can display small artifacts at the bottom of the stream===
 +
H.264 RTSP stream in UDP mode can display small artifacts at the bottom of the stream.
 +
 +
===MTN-2361 TCIV H264 stream does not work in Honeywell Maxpro NVR===
 +
RTSP H.264 does not work in Honeywell Maxpro NVR, workaround is to use MJPEG RTSP stream
 +
 +
===MTN-2360 Client side forwarding does not work in SIP mode===
 +
Client side forwarding, which can be configured as a DAK action or activated from INCA display menu, does not work in SIP mode. Workaround is to use SIP server side forwarding.
 +
 +
===MTN-2359 Stream is not always established in Pelco VideoExpert VMS version 3.0 or newer===
 +
Stream is not always established in Pelco VideoExpert VMS version 3.0 or newer, workaround is to follow all the steps described here https://wiki.zenitel.com/wiki/Adding_TCIV_ONVIF_camera_to_Pelco_VideoXpert_Professional when adding TCIV station to Pelco VideoExpert
 +
 +
===MTN-2358 Making a point-to-point call during High priority Group call will drop group call audio.===
 +
When 2 stations establish a point-to-point call during High priority Group call, they will no longer receive audio from current High priority group call.
 +
 +
===MTN-2356 SNMP not working properly on TCIV under high CPU load===
 +
SNMP is not working properly on TCIV under high CPU load, which means that SNMP traps and inform messages can be sent with delay, or not be sent at all. This only happens if TCIV is placed under very high load, under normal operating conditions SNMP function without any issues.
 +
 +
===MTN-2339 Group call chime is not played on 3rd party SIP stations===
 +
Group call chime (WAV file) is not played on third party SIP devices when Group Call is set over multicast IP address.
 +
 +
===MTN-2220 Default SNMP settings issue with firmware downgrade to 4.9===
 +
When downgrading from VSFT 4.11+ to 4.9 a factory reset is necessary if user wants to use default SNMP configuration. For custom snmp.conf file, re-upload with a custom snmp.conf file will fix the problem.
 +
 +
===MTN-1073 Group call fails if system previously configured with ZAP===
 +
If system was configured with ZAP (VS-IMT Pulse SDK project) and then switched to XML configuration by deleting data.lua file, it is possible that Group Calls shall not work. A workaround is that (1) data.lua file is deleted from all stations including Pulse server - this will reboot stations, and (2) after reboot go to Server configuration -> Save + Apply - this will again reboot all stations.

==Improvements - Turbine Intercom==
 +
===TYR-109 Security hardening for TLS connections and Secure SIP===
 +
Security level set to 112 bits of security. As a result RSA, DSA and DH keys shorter than 2048 bits and ECC keys shorter than 224 bits are prohibited. Any ciphersuite using RC4 is also prohibited. SSL version 3 is also not allowed. Compression is disabled.
 +

 +
===MTN-3093 Improved Tone test to combat noisy environment and to be able to use in places with multiple stations in the close vicinity===
 +
Tone volume is automatically adjusted to suit the ambient noise levels and therefore make it suitable to use it in noisy environment. Further improvement is made for environments like a train where multiple stations are next to each other. This might have caused the intercom with faulty speaker picks up tone from another station doing the test at the same time and wrongly reports success. This is now solved by playing multiple frequency tones.
 +

 +
===MTN-2852 Frontboard DAK can now be configured to switch to internal speaker while performing PTT.===
 +
This is used as a workaround for issues with headset auto detect. User is able to configure DAK key to send M key as well as switch to internal speaker. This is exposed for TFIX and TFIE stations in call settings of ICX AlphaCom mode.
 +

 +
===MTN-2770 SNMP now allows subnet 32 in allowed network===
 +
SNMP now allows subnet 32 in allowed network making possible to limit SNMP traffic to only one IP address.

===PHIX-141 Implemented support for IPv6===
+
===MTN-2693 Added call monitoring options===
IPv6 is now supported in SIP mode. IPv6 address and DNS address can be configured using one of the follow methods:
+
In SIP mode it is possible to configure SIP OPTIONS timer to monitor established calls. If the remote part in a call is unavailable, the call will automatically be hung up. This option is available in advanced configuration mode.
* Stateless Addresss AutoConfiguration (SLAAC) with Network Discovery Recursive DNS Server (RDNSS)
+
Changed registration handling
* Stateful DHCPv6

* Stateless DHCPv6

* Static Address Assignment configured from web

The options are chosen based on Router Advertisement with the exception of Static Address assignment. <br/>

Default setting is IPv4<br/>

Limitations:<br/>

* Tftp provisioning does not work with IPv6

===PHIX-142 External communication - Suppport telephony calls in Edge Controller===
+
The minimum registration time is now 30 seconds. If registration time is configured to be below 60 seconds the registration will fail 15 seconds after initial registration message when the SIP server is not responding.
The IP Telephony Service allow calls from an IC-EDGE site to public telephones without need to use additional hardware such as MP-114 gateways. IC-Edge connects to a SIP trunk provider which has access to telephony calls. <br/>

Limitations: <br/>

* Max number of concurrent calls: 2

===PHIX-299 ENA in SIP mode===
+
When station fails to register to a SIP server associated calls which are ringing or queued will now be automatically hung up.
Exigo Network Amplifiers now support operation in SIP mode.

Main features:

* Two addressable speaker channels per amplifier (Two SIP accounts)

* Separate SIP account to connect local microphone to SIP server

* Multicast paging for background music

* Extended monitoring services included speaker line, power, temperature, fan, input and network monitoring

{{Note| There are some limitations in SIP mode for the Exigo amplifiers. These are:

* Triggering of outputs and relays

* Support for backup amplifier

* Syslog reporting

* TFTP provisioning}}

+
===MTN-1045 Disable scrolling while in call===
The default behavior for how an Exigo amplifier in SIP mode shall handle calls when it does not receive RTP data has changed. Old default behavior was that the call would not disconnect if RTP data was not received. New behavior is that call will disconnect if RTP data is not received over a period of 20 seconds. The new behavior applies to all Exigo Network Amplifiers. Factory reset required to get the new value applied.
+
Stations which have address book and scroll buttons are no longer able to use those buttons while there's an active, incoming or outgoing call.

=== MTN-2460 Common CA certificates are now bundled with station ===
+
==Fixed issues - Turbine Intercom==
Regsitering to SIP providers in cloud should now work with TLS without needing to upload certificates. This assumes the SIP providers use certificates from trusted root CAs:
+
===MTN-3231 Address book is not downloaded with .csv extension.===
<nowiki>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Certificate_authority#Providers</nowiki>
+
When you would download address book it would download as .txt. Now this is fixed.

=== MTN-2623 IC-Edge/SIP support for MP114 speech start/stop event ===
+
===MTN-3057 Group Calling in Sipelia===
Implemented handling for SPEECH START/END signalling from MP114 gateway. Can configure a timeout on speech end to cause call to end.
+
Video will now stream when Group Call in Sipelia is established.

=== MTN-2684 Added basic support for SNMP v3 ===
+
===MTN-2836 TFTP provisioning would sometimes look for wrong filename if SIP domain was not configured===

+
Before, detection period using the SIP OPTIONS, of other device going offline was random and up to several minutes based on device MAC.
Firewall for RTP is increased to UDP ports 61000-62000 to support new AlphaCom audio handling.

=== MTN-2641 One way audio towards Clearcom SIP phones ===
+
===MTN-2820 Mobile app crash during QR code scan===
There was an issue in SDP rtpmap parsing on Zenitel devices which sometimes caused one way audio. This is now resolved.
+
Bug fix for mobile app crash during QR code scan caused by empty item in Global Address list.

=== MTN-2530 Removed C-key enabling of Private/Open mode in SIP/Edge mode ===
+
===MTN-2814 Offset gain applied was applied wrong===

+
Offset gain was applied wrong, causing it to be much higher than it should be

=== MTN-2463 Resolved some Audio Messaging issues. ===
+
===MTN-2795 Audio stops working===
* When audio messaging was set to play "File then Tone", it would play the message and then go silent and not play the ringing tone.
+
If the station detects audio issues, the audio driver will be reset. This might cause a 1 second drop in the audio.
* Group Call is now excluded from call ringing event.

=== MTN-2444 ONVIF device model for TCIV-5 ===
+
===MTN-2794 Edge controller parallel ringing ringlist configuration is now working correctly.===
ONVIF will now correctly return model type for TCIV-5 stations.
+
Before there was issue where saving buttons on a station over Edge controller would reset parallel ringing configuration used when calling ringlist for that particular station. Workaround was to save ringlist settings on Edge Controller again.

=== MTN-2435 Group call chime is cut off (IC-EDGE) ===
+
===MTN-2777 Line out audio distorted when more than 6dB CH2 gain applied===
When doing group call, the group call chime tone may be cut off right at the end. Issue is fixed.
+
When more than 6dB Volume CH2 (gain) was applied audio was distorted because gain jumped to 24dB regardless of value. Volume CH2 (gain) should now follow set value.

=== MTN-2074 TKIE-3 keyboard matrix Vol Up/Down was not working ===
+
===MTN-2774 Properly show values in Manual Time configuration===
On the TKIE-3 in AlphaCom mode with keyboard matrix the Volume UP (J9-5 and J9-7) and Volume DOWN (J9-5 and J9-6) was not working. This has been fixed. Other keys are functional.

Release info

Name: VSF-Turbine
Description: VSF-Turbine is a firmware archive for Zenitel devices based on the IMX28 processor.

The firmware is delivered in a ZIP archive:.
Version:

  • vsft-6.1.x.x - Used for standard in-field upgrades

Date: 25.05.2021
Status: General Availability Compatibility: Pulse to IC-EDGE System
You can upgrade from Pulse (VS-IS 4.x) to IC-EDGE, but the whole system needs to run with the same Turbine software (VS-IS 5/6).
In an IC-EDGE System, INCA intercoms cannot be used as the Edge Controller.
TCIV video intercoms should not be used as the Edge Controller for systems exceeding 4 devices.
IMT 1.5 or newer can be used for station discovery and upgrade but must not be used to configure IC-EDGE.
Pulse to IC-EDGE Licenses
Pulse licenses will be honored in an IC-EGDE System. This means that when you upgrade firmware from VS-IS 4.x to 5.x/6.x your Pulse licenses will work for IC-EDGE.
