DAK on a station

See also: AlphaPro - DAK Configuration

The DAK - Direct Access Key (also known as single-touch key), give immediate contact with 10 of your most frequently used numbers/functions. Any of the following numbers can be programmed on a DAK on each station:

  • The directory number of another station
  • Telephone numbers ("0" + external telephone number)
  • The number of a function (for example a Group Call number
  • The number of an absence message, plus optional digits for date and time
  • The number of a 66x voice/text message (plus optional digits
  • Door opening/activation of pager, etc. (Digits dialled during connection.)
  • The number of an event trigger

Only one function per key can be entered. The system does not support multifunction keys. Event Handler programming can be used to solve such applications (Event Trigger Feature).

Keys 9 and 10 are autoloaded with the values for the Info key (feature number list) and Name key (user directory list). If you want to use the keys for other purposes, you can reprogam them - the Info and Name lists can still be used by dialling from the keypad:

60 Feature Number List
614 Directory Number List

Keys 1 and 2 function as * and # keys when you have dialled "0" and are connected to a telephone line via the PNCI (Public Network Interface) or the SIP MP-11x SIP Gateway. They can still be programmed as Direct Access Keys.

If the Hot-line Dialing option is activated for the station, key 7 functions as handset off and key 8 as handset on.

DAK on a telephone

An analogue telephone connected to the AlphaCom system via an ATLB board is treated like a master station. It is possible to use the * and # keys on the telephone as Direct Access Keys. Telephones with A, B, C and D-keys can also use these keys as DAK.

User - DAK Window

See AlphaPro -> Users & Stations -> DAK for details.
