Fixes issues

ZEN-1453 There was an issue with upgrade of IP-telephony username and password

IP-telephony username and password needs to be re entered after upgrading to 1.6

ZEN-1393 When factory resetting Zenitel Connect Pro you had to wait until devices have reset until scanning again

When factory resetting ZCP the devices would reset to factory default and reboot. Too early scan resulted in devices got stuck in wrong state after restore

ZEN-1145 Syslog server did not receive data from ZCP running on a VM

When syslog was configured, you had to to reboot ZCP to make certain that data was sent to the syslog server

ZEN-1122 There was an issue downloading logs on VM’s

This has been fixed

ZEN-1074 Fixed an error with API calls messaging

After reboot of Zenitel Connect Pro or the device the first response on POST /api/calls will be a 500 instead of 201

ZEN-1062 VM did not get any IP assigned without DHCP server present

VM did not have link-local address. It should provide 169.254.0.0/16

ZEN-619 Default network range reappeared after upgrade

For scanning of devices it is possible to add and delete network ranges. For the ICX-510, netweork range 169.254.0.0/16 is default. After upgrade, this range would re-appear, even when previously deleted.

Known issues

ZEN-1529 Sometimes the trunk status does not show reachable

When setting up or diagnosing a trunk in the “Devices and Connections — External Communication” menu by looking at the status fields it is sometimes empty when it should have been displaying “Reachable”

The connection can be working so be sure to test with a call

ZEN-1523 Logging with Syslog does not work if Debug log is Off

When setting up an external Syslog server in the “Applications” menu and “logs” section. If the “Debug log” is set to Off the remote logging will not start

Work around is to set the log value to any other value than Off

ZEN-1522 Log level is set back to Off after upgrade to 1.6.0

You might experience that the remote logging stops working after upgrade to the 1.6.0 release

Go to “Applications” menu and “logs” section and update all the “Log Level” values to the desired values

ZEN-1509 Issues when importing backup from support using merge without keep IP settings

When importing a backup in the “System” and “Backup & Recovery” section. If the system you are on is not the same install as the one used to take the backup and you select Merge option and select not to keep IP settings you can loose various functions like being able to call if the system is not rebooted. This feature to merge backups will be deprecated in future releases.

To avoid issues after restore reboot the system

ZEN-1499 Restore on a different system (CLONE) when backup has static IP set

When importing a backup in the “System” and “Backup & Recovery” section. If the system you are on is not the same install as the one used to take the backup and you select Clone option and the backup had static IP flag set on at least one of its networks there might be issues with the browser cookies. To reach this state the IP needs to be different on the new system compared to the backed up one.

Make sure to set the same IP as in the backup before reverting to backup. If there are login issues try another browser.

ZEN-1474 Authentication fields on trunks has username & password issue

When adding or modifying trunks in the “Devices and Connections — External Communication” menu it is not possible to change both user name and password at the same time, change one at a time

ZEN-1256 VM upgrade using SWU file has issues

The easiest way to upgrade a VM is to use the SWU files. Unfortunately some system files in the host machine are not upgraded so for instance log rotation might stop working. So for now take a backup upgrade using the OVA file and import the backup.

The VM swu upgrade will be restored in a future release

ZEN-1212 Restore on a system with a different IP-address

When importing a backup in the “System” and “Backup & Recovery” section and the ZCP IP address is not the same as stored in the backup the import will not get the devices into a configured state as they expect to speak to ZCP with at the old IP address.

When restoring a backup the IP address of ZCP needs to be the same as when the backup was created. So first change IP to the one stored in the backup and load the backup and after system is configured take a new backup.

ZEN-1098 Call forwarding from call queue to IP-telephony destination

In the “Features” and “Call Queues” section if any of the forwarding numbers has been selected and chosen to be an IP-telephony destination a call to this queue will not be successfully forwarded to this number.

ZEN-796 Cannot replace a device by importing devices via the Excel spreadsheet

When in the Devices and Connections - Configuration menu and selecting Import from Excel. If the imported list has the same directory number as one of the currently configured devices but with a different MAC address the old device is kept

Until this is fixed update the device manually in Connect Web

ZEN-757 Broadcast not working if caller is member of broadcast group

Until this is fixed the sender cannot be part of the group it is sending to

DS-1459 It takes long time for devices with static IP to get into configured state

When adding static devices with the net set to static in Connect it can take up to 5 minutes for them to be configured
