The Zenitel Display Door intercom ZDD-1 is featuring a sleek low-profile design and touch screen. The intercom is built with Zenitel's durable construction, providing flexible mounting options that make it suitable for a variety of spaces and environments. The touch screen features a user friendly interface with an intuitive menu, and the placement of microphones and speakers ensures clear communication.

Power

The ZDD-1 must be powered by PoE+ or PoE++.

PoE+ (or PoE++) must be used. Regular PoE does not provide sufficient power for the ZDD-1 unit. As soon as audio is being played the unit might consume more power than what is available from PoE (12.95W), and the device is likely to reboot.
If the loudspeaker volume is set to maximum, the ZDD-1 might require more power than PoE+ can deliver (25.5W). In this case PoE++ is required.

The ZDD-1 can operate in different modes, depending on what kind of server it should register to. Choose one of the links below according to what mode you need to configure.

General configuration:

Edge mode
SIP mode
Zenitel Connect Pro (ZCP)
ZDD-1 used with ICX-AlphaCom

To use this device with Zenitel Connect Pro it must be factory defaulted. The device configuration is done from the Zenitel Connect Pro server.
To use this device with ICX AlphaCom it must be in SIP mode, and a SIP Station license ILS-SIP is required in the ICX-AlphaCom

The TA-35 Onwall backbox is mandatory for onwall mounting of the ZDD-1.
