Fixes issues
ZEN-2185 In some occasions the Zenitel Cloud RMM stopped working or did not work from start
This was due to a password that was generated with some special characters causing an internal conflict. This has been fixed.
ZEN-2033 There was an issue when registering a larger system with Zenitel Cloud RMM
A Zenitel Connect Pro system with more than 50 connected/configured devices would fail to properly register with the RMM. As a workaround, the system could be activated (Enable cloud connection in Connect Web) with less than 50 devices connected/configured and then claimed in the RMM. After this, additional devices could be added to the Zenitel Connect Pro system
ZEN-1997 When restoring from backup cloud connection would not be restored
To remedy the situation the connection needed to be set up again. This has been solved.
ZEN-1873 When enabling cloud the enable cloud connection button did not always work
If you selected the Cloud Connection menu in Connect Web and pressed the enable cloud connection button sometimes nothing would happen. Note that you also needed an account with Zenitel cloud solution to make use of the cloud connection.
The workaround was to refresh the page and press the button again.
ZEN-1868 Reclaiming already claimed devices did not always work
Before factory reset or claiming on another system you had to delete the devices in the cloud.
First you had to manually delete the devices in the RMM “Devices” section. The missing devices could be found by MAC address
In rare cases they might not be possible to be reclaimed, contact Zenitel and the devices will be made claimable again.
ZEN-1866 If Zenitel Connect Pro and devices were not on the compatible version the devices might get unconfigured warning
The workaround was to upgrade ZCP and devices to the compatible version and reboot ZCP. This has now been fixed.
ZEN-1789 When using directory services on devices with displays, the text was too long and could be cut off
The wording has been revised to be more compact to better suit the full range of displays.
ZEN-1738 Directory services service codes did not check permissions
When calling directory services using the service code method the initial call is was not permission checked. When calling using a directory number the permissions was checked. This has been fixed.
ZEN-1726 When editing existing call services the priorities of the different permissions could change causing unexpected behavior
The option to add negative permissions has been removed making the system always behave in a consistent manner.
Known issues
ZEN-2287 When using static IP on devices with an IMX28 cpu it takes a long time for the device to become fully operational
The device will recover but it can take arounf 10 minutes to become operational without warning. Following is a link to a list of affected devices: https://wiki.zenitel.com/wiki/Zenitel_Devices_based_on_iMX28
ZEN-2263 When importing a system using the excel there is a risk stations will not get operational
The workaround is to log into device web and reboot the device or delete it from the configuration in Connect Web.
ZEN-2248 Issue with removing devices from the Zenitel Cloud RMM without removing them from Zenitel Connect device list
If a device is removed from the Zenitel Cloud RMM but it is still existing in the Connect setup it needs to be deleted from the connect setup as well to get the RMM to start working properly with this device again.
ZEN-2164 There is an issue when sometimes configuring ITSV as broadcast receivers they will not play audio
Especially if configuring multiple broadcast groups and rebooting this issue can appear. To work around this check that the broadcast is working in these devices as it is set up.
ZEN-2163 If an ITSV is offline when configuration changes are made, the changes needs to be re-applied
The ITSV will not automatically update the new settings that was made in connect web after it becomes offline
ZEN-2158 When using Zenitel Connect Core and changing to use a NTS host, sometimes the time is not updated
When switching to use NTS sometimes the actual time is not synched on VM’s. To remedy this situation reboot Zenitel Connect after changing source.
ZEN-2135 On rare occasions ITSV’s does not factory default when removing them from connect web
To work around this issue, manual factory default the device by selecting settings->System Security->Factory Reset.
ZEN-1948 When using IP telephony, it is not possible to use Directory Services numbers
ZEN-1659 When starting a broadcast call in Zenitel Connect Pro initiated from a trunk there is no ding dong sound played
For local broadcast there is an initial ding dong sound played before the broadcast begins. There is currently no workaround for this issue.
ZEN-796 Cannot replace a device by importing devices via the Excel spreadsheet
When in the Devices and Connections - Configuration menu and selecting Import from Excel. If the imported list has the same directory number as one of the currently configured devices but with a different MAC address the old device is kept
Until this is fixed update the device manually in Connect Web
ZEN-752 Several PAVA functions require the use of # and * which is present on ITSV keyboards.
This is good to keep in mind when designing a new system with PAVA integration. There is also the option to use API.
ZEN-649 TLS SIP Trunk towards CUCM does not set up properly
There are issues exchanging certificates to get this secure communication working, workaround is to use TCP or UDP.
