A Chilly start of AMC is a restart where all "state" data is cleared. This is data which survives normal reset, but is not programmed from AlphaPro.
Examples of data which is cleared in a chilly restart are:
- Station Mail Messages/Call Request
- Call Forwarding / Follow me
- Absence Messages
- User Defined Data - UDD
- Wake-up Calls
- Audio Program selection on stations
- Slave mode: Chilly start of a module in slave mode will restore it to normal master mode.
Chilly restart can be done from AlphaWeb:
System Maintenance -> System Recovery -> Chilly restart
This feature was introduced in AMC 10.52. Before that it was only available as a TST console command ("chilly" + "reset").
