The ICX-AlphaCom platform consists of two main components. The ICX-AlphaCom Core is the software component. The ICX500 Gateway is the hardware component. The software may run on the ICX500 Gateway, or it can run in a virtual environment, such as VM Ware or Virtual box, or it can run on a dedicated Linux computer. The ICX500 Gateway comes with the ICX-AlphaCom Core software preinstalled.
