AlphaCom (AMC-IP) software

Notes on AMC-IP Software 11.3.3.1b and later:

• This software can be installed on black AMC-IP boards only (HW version 5 or 6).
• Due to dependencies, the upgrade procedure is as follows:
  • Check current AMC version. If the AMC version is lower than 11.2.3.6, upgrade the AMC-IP board to version 11.2.3.9
  • Install BSP version 30.03.
  • Upgrade the AMC-IP board to version 11.3.3.2

C++ libraries for 32 bit computers (x86)	2.639	vcredist_x86.exe	The AlphaCom OPC Server is a C++ application that requires the proper version of C++ libraries installed. • PuTTY: A Free Telnet/SSH Client
• TFTP server: A PC tool used for file transfer
• Wireshark: A free packet analyzer computer application. It is used for network troubleshooting, analysis, software and communications protocol development, and education. Originally named Ethereal.
• Tera Term Pro. A free software terminal emulator (communication program) for Windows
• Kiwi SysLog. A very good tool for receiving log messages from the AlphaCom.
• Milestone Generic Event tester: A tool to simulate commands from the AlphaCom to Milestone.
